Hi, I have heard that you guys want to remove the window close dialog in pd ?
We need it for performances. Please make it a startup flag as in :
pd -wc
WIndow close, like in IRSSI.

Why do you need it for performances? I'd think that the people who most want it removed are people who don't want it to show up in performances.

They are the same people who accidentally hit the close box on a patch that's running so perfectly if they could just get to the tape recorder and hit record but they hit the close box and lost all the settings.

especially because ctrl-e and ctrl-w are so damn close to each other
on the keyboard.

you can press CTRL+SHIFT+W instead of CTRL+W to close windows without prompt

This is great news, thanks. Now if only I could SHIFT+CLICK the box with the X to close without prompt.
Even better would be a real preference checkbox that would take
effect immediately and be off by default.
