Hi all,
I have just downloaded and installed pd. When I try to start, I get the message:
Application initialization failed: couldn't stat "": no such file or directory
I know this is something stupid I've forgotten to do, like leaving a path that only means something on the original author's machine. Has anyone seen this before? I searched the list archives and could find nothing; also nothing in the compile/install instructions.
I'm running RedHat 6.0 on an x86 box.
Thanks for any suggestions or ideas,

Here's just a guess... it sounds like X windows and Pd aren't finding each other. I've never seen this happen before...
