Hi all,
on the usual, http://www.crca.ucsd.edu/~msp/software.html , you can now get preliminary release "0.35 test 11" for linux or MS windows. This fixes the two most recent problems reported by Krzysztof (the text-doubling problem and the 70-millisecond hiccups mousing over patches with large visible tables.
Next is getting it to run on Max OSX, then more testing and doc. I'm likely to chicken out of trying to add support for threading and ASIO in MSW, since I'm having so much trouble already getting this one stable...

maybe i can help a little on that topic if needed, since i now have a mac with os-x available. be warned that it seems difficult to get smooth output on os-x at least with jmax there are lots of crackles in the output, since the software doesnt run with realtime priority (i.e. in root-context) i guess the scheduling on os-x (bsd) is a bit different from that on linux, but im not sure.

Well, the newest portaudio for Mac OSX is said to do quite well for audio latency (perhaps on the assumption that the process has real-time priority...)
I haven't yet updated the Pd source to the newest portaudio code (don't have a Mac on me and have to squat one) but the "linux" sources should now "./configure" and "make" for OSX, so if you'd like to check it out, you're welcome to... You'd want to download the latest portaudio and TCL/TK from http://sourceforge.net/projects/tcl/ too.

thanks, will give it a try the next days. i think i have booth already, portaudio and tcl/tk (the latter from the fink package, http://fink.sourceforge.net , a great thing on os-x ;-)
