Once I make a final 0.38.4 release, I'll switch to 0.39. As for devel,
I don't use it currently but Jamie has expressed interest in making a
pd-devel-extended. The whole build system is in CVS, and is modular
and I hope relatively straightforward to use, so anyone can make their
own packages.

i m just trying out the new installer package (thx hans for the effort !) and i get the following error on gem (non)startup:
<snip> /Users/janawinderen/Desktop/erich/Pd-0.38.4-extended-RC5.app/Contents/Resources/Scripts/../extra/Gem.pd_darwin: dlcompat: dyld: /Users/janawinderen/Desktop/erich/Pd-0.38.4-extended-RC5.app/Contents/Resources/Scripts/../bin/pd can't open library: /usr/lib/libstdc++.6.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2) </snip>
do i need to install some add libs ?

Looks like that was built with GCC 4 and 10.4 and you are using 10.3.

Looks like that was built with GCC 4 and 10.4 and you are using 10.3.
Nope, it was built on gcc 3.3 on 10.3.9. Maybe you are running
something older than 10.3.9?
