Hi, I been working in a project with gem, i need to positionate the camera in a specific point of the 3d scene.
I know i can translate by hand the position in x/y/z of the camera,
but magine that i have a cube in my 3d scene , i need to automatically positionate the camera in a specific point of the cube. I would like to see the 3d scene from each side of my cube.
Is there is a way of calculating this automatically?
thanks
A.
Hi...
It's not exactly what you want, but [camera] may be solve your problem.
Cheers.

i would rather not, as i would rather have [camera] out of Gem as in.
normally the way to position the camera is by using the [view( message to [gemwin].
but of course you can do the same using [translate] and [rotate] (e.g. when using [gemframebuffer].
