Yeah, well duh I could do that. Maybe I'm asking more for a little checkbox so I still have the option of re-enabling it ...

remove the relevante plugin (i don't know it's name though) from the search path? load the "disable-plugins" plugin and disable the offending plugin?

Hey Dan,
I wrote that buttonbar to get the idea out there as a proof of concept. Its not something I use, so I'm not working on it any more. I'd love to see someone pick it up and turn it into something fully polished. Want to take it on, Dan? Basic Tcl is easy once you get over the slightly odd syntax.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like I was complaining. I was just wondering if there was some mechanism to enable/disable plugins without requiring manually adding/deleting the tcl scripts. Yes I know I could step up and "make it" but my plate is already full of doing such things ... :P That being said, perhaps my question sparks interest in someone else?

Hi Dan, Was the plugin included in some version of Pd you downloaded, or did you install it yourself?
I think there was a thread about a plugin that would turn plugins on and off, but I think that feature needs to be in the core system.

It's me who maintains it (BTW don't send bugs to the bug tracker as the plugin is not part of the distro). Actively... well, there are some things on the TODO which I'm not yet sure how to accomplish best. It's not wrong to say I'm not maintaining it actively.

Your plugins-plugin is a valuable tool, so please ask for help here, if that's useful to you.

the bug-tracker has nothing todo with a "distro" (neither Pd-vanilla, nor Pd-extended) it's a service of sourceforge used by the pd community to track bugs, hence i used it (and because the project page didn't mention another place where i could report it). if you want bug-reports to go somewhere else, you could add an address for issues to [1] (and well, yes, i could have used the "contact address"...)
