hello,
i am just playng around with pd on a dec alpha. the horizontal lines of the object boxes do not end at the right corner but go on until the right corner of the window, more or less like this:

apart from this funny apperance everything works.
i was trying the widget demo which comes with perl-tk no problems there...
specs:
alpha pc 164 (guenter i guess you remember that box :-) ) srm-console matrox millennium debian linux potato pd030 (comes with potato) kernel 2.2.15

This is a bug in tk for Alpha's. For this purpose I have a working libtk lying around, and each time the installer overwrites it with a buggy version I just copy it there.
I have put a working version of libtk8.0 next to pd-0.30... .. should be mirrored to the IEM soon.
BTW, I have compiled pd with the Compaq ccc compiler, pd's performance has doubled.
Use the makefile.compaq to do it.
