hello list, Josheph
Do you have a netreceive object in your patch? When using -nogui with Pd
on
Windows, you need to have a netreceive object somewhere (anywhere) in your patch so the Pd scheduler has something to select() on, else it will grind to a halt. Hope this helps.
Ic so just a empty netreceive will do?
Thanks Anton
Ic so just a empty netreceive will do?
To answer my own question (wich i was oh so hastly to ask), indeed, such simplicity, life brings not often.
To then (perhaps yet again prematurly?) ask another question: is there a way to exit pd from with GrIPD? I have yet to find the object/message that i could use to control this.
Cheers Anton
hello,
you can just send a bang to a [; pd quit;< message.
cheers Cyrille
