Hello I need to open two gem win (window) for two different function. one is to display video the other is for detecting exposure of a light. It doesn't matter what i use do in those gem win. But iam stuck on opening up TWO GEM WIN in ONE PD PROGRAM?

It's not possible with standard Gem, but in the multiwindow branch from the Gem CVS. But you need to compile that yourself.

short answer: you don't

why do you need a gemwindow for exposure measuring? you don't need a
[dac~] (audio output) when you want to do thresholding (or some other
analysis) on the incoming audio-signal, do you?
