Hi. Having a problem with puredata.info. I'm trying to access https://msp.puredata.info/Software/pd-0.54-0.src.tar.gz, but it's failing. The only link on the releases page for 0.54-0 that works for me is Debian because it is hosted elsewhere. Just want to make sure the maintainers know. Maybe the problem is with Miller's server?
Any idea when it might be back up?
Sam

most likely: somewhat.
msp.puredata.info is just a proxy to offer https:// connections to the real (miller's) server is http://msp.ucsd.edu/
it seems that the ucsd.edu firewall is currently blocking the proxy requests (most likely due to an excessive amount of requests).
i'll probably turn the proxy into a redirect (but not before tomorrow morning), so people can at least download via http:// (if their browsers allow it)
ideally, msp.ucsd.edu would be reachable directly via https://, then we wouldn't need a proxy at all.

that was a very short night, and i've now switched the links to a redirect.

but this still holds true.

last night, miller's site finally got https:// support, so it's now possible to download Pd via a secure connection directly from https://msp.ucsd.edu/
hooray!
