Hi list,
does anybody know if there is a maximum number of arguments that can be passed on to the performe routine when calling "dsp_add()"? I'm trying to make an external with 16 signal inlets and 16 signal inlets but all I get are crashes... Reducing the number of inlets and outlets to 4 each works.
any help is very appreciated!

have a look at the matrix~-code in the zexy external. this is an object with dynamic number of inlet~/outlet~s. the only time i make it crash is, when (by making typos) i try to allocate 100 in- and 100 outlet~s.

Hi,
Anyone by chance developed an atan~ (or pref. an atan2~) object?

If I download the preliminary test 14, (or any other version for that matter), will I still have to manually update "bin\pd.tk" to support IEM_LIB?
If so, then at what point will that modification become standard in PD?
Thanks, Dave Sabine

You didn't have to do this since, I think, PD version 0.34. I'm not sure, if all of iemlibs graphical objects have now found it's way into PD, but I think, there is not need to install the old GUI parts of IEMLIB anymore. But the rest (filters, t3_*, etc) is still veryvery useful.
