Hi list,
is the power operator implemented in the expr object? "^" won't do the job... If it isn't, are there any other possibilities to compute power-values within pd without writing/modifying an external?

Oops, sorry for a RTFM question :) pow object is just fine.

hi,
Anyone had this problem running under WinXP?
All the boxes in a canvas seem way too big, with all the fonts way too small!
It doesn't make for easy reading!
Bombing the fonts lets you get just barely readable font sizes (on a hi-res screen laptop), but the boxes are then way too big!!
Is this a tk/tcl problem? Anyone know? Any fixes?
(it's running pd-0.34-4 under Xp 'pro', on a Dell laptop - linux coming soon, but not yet).
Cheers,

My patch was made in xp, but when I try it in linux (suse 7.3) it happens the same (at least the font size is very different)

Ivan Averintsev about [PD] expr object / power operator / Today
|Hi list, | |is the power operator implemented in the expr object? "^" won't do the |job...
yeha, upon searching the archive:
epxr pow($f1,2)
does something that looks useful indeed
also there should be "pow" object
|If it isn't, are there any other possibilities to compute power-values within |pd without writing/modifying an external?
