Hi,
Are symbols really supported in data structures?
I tried searching the pd-list for an answer but didn't find much about it. I cant get [append] and [set] to read symbols in their inlets, but I can retrieve symbols with [get]. The only way I can get symbols into the data structure is to manually write them in a file and read the file with a read message.
I'm using pd extended 0.40.

Hi Anton,
There's no way to do it with 'append', but you can set a symbol field's value with 'set -symbol my-template my-field'.
It's pretty clunky, I think :)
