Ok, so long as all those other cities get to enjoy the spoils of a group meeting, surely the home of the American open source movement can round up a few interested parties as well. Are there any PDsters in Portland, OR who would like to gather?

Hell yeah! My band's not getting back from our tour until the end of June(except for the June 6 date we're playing in P-town), but It'd be great to meet some other Pacific NorthWesterners gettin' crazy with the PD sometime after that.

Is there a list of PureData Users Groups worldwide?
If not, I was thinking that adding a section for that at puredata.info, in the community section, would be a good thing. It would list webpages / wikipages / mailinglists associated with those user groups.
BTW, just another short promo for our users group :-) There is a PureData group in Montréal. We are having our tenth meeting tomorrow. We also have a mailing-list for announcements, which has 112 subscribers. The meetings last 4 hours and have 3-5 talks each (usually).
Here's a photo of part of the audience of the third meeting (march 2004):

People can subscribe to the mailing-list (or browse the archives) at:

If I were putting more effort into it we'd have a real webpage at the following address (maybe I should be doing that Real Soon Now...):

hi,
I set up a PD user group in China last year but unfortunately, there're very small aount of members and I'm the only one who sends message, here's the link, http://www.freelists.org/webpage/pd_user_china
Hopefully will have members after my FLOSS in Media Art project.
Cheers, SFS
