Hello,
The "fullscreen 1" signal to "gemwin" does not seem to make the GL context operate in fullscreen on Mac OS X, 10.3, with the latest PD and GEM versions. I can use the "dimen x y" and "offset 0 0" to get a close approximation, but I was hoping to get fullscreen working. Does anyone know any secrets to getting GEM operating in fullscreen on a single-monitor Mac OS X system? Do I absolutely have to have dual monitors?
10.3 broke various aspects of the GL setup code in GEM. We will have to rewrite it to get full functionality back.
I'm thinking that the 'secondscreen' message doesn't make a whole lot of sense for multiple displays so perhaps it would be better to send a 'fullscreen n' to do full screen on the desired display? 'fullscreen 1' would be the display with the menu bar, 'fullscreen 2' would be the second display and so on.
