Hi!
i wrote an abstraction and put it into a subfolder (named 'pp') inside my 'abs' folder.
Pd's path points to that 'abs' folder.
Loading the abstraction with [pp/absname] works great, but pd searches for the helpfile in: abs/pp/pp/absname-help.
Even if i explicitly set the helppath to abs/pp, the same search (abs/pp/pp) is done and the helpfile isn't found of course.
This is pd version 0.40-2.
Is this normal? Am i missing something?
regards,
Peter

What happens if you set the helppath to just 'abs' ?

I think this has been noted in the bug tracker already, but you could check and file a new report if it hasn't been.

Should work perfectly on every version of Pd. I would like to know if not.

You need to set both -path and -helppath to "abs", then it should work. In the helpfile, I would probably recommend to use the object without directory prefix, as the helpfile then also would work for the object when called without prefix.
