Hi, im trying to run a very old gem patch i did more than 10 years ago in a new computer. It open without problems but all i can see black window with some noise i cant control anything.
When i try look for last error i get:
Glsl_program :cant link zero shaders.
Im not been using pd the last 5 or 6 years. So im out of data. Is there any big chance in gem or pd i should know? Any idea why is not working?
Im using pd 0.50.2 64 bit in windows 10
Thanks
R.
hello, According to the error, I think your problem is that the shader is not loaded. This is maybee because it can only be loaded after the gemwin creation. It's possible that few years ago it was possible to load them with a loadbang.

Hi, if i load shaders after gemwin creation then i can start seeing color but theres still something broken because i see everything (3d structures) flat , without perspective.
And when looking for last error now i get: [Glsl_program]:unable to get shaderID for 0.000000... Skipping!
Any idea?

Yes ;-) Any questions ?
No, seriously:
1.) PD / GEM versions please and Operating System. 2.) post your patch so people on this list might have a look at it 3.) if you do so, also send the shader files you intend to use 4.) i had an issue once where the problem was just, that the shader files (which are just plain text files) had Windows Line Endings (CR + LF) instead of Linux Line Endings (LF) which is mandatory also on Windows systems ! Check that please and if so, convert them to LF only.
Best
Oliver
I just realize its not only a problem with shaders. If i take off the shader part of the patch im still getting the same problem. It looks everything flat (2d), with no shadows and perspective.
Any idea?
