Greetings All
Sorry if this got posted twice the computer gremlins seem to be at if again
I have a signal In which sharp peaks are produced. Is there a way for me to bring the amplitude of these peaks down to be more in line with the overall average of the signal?

Thanks
looks like your average peak is around 0.05 or something?
simplest way would be to use [clip~ -0.05 0.05]
if you want to do a smoother way, then [*~ 20] (or whatever value is appropriate to scale -1 to 1) , and then [expr~ tanh] or [tanh~]
Rick T and i go bananas, you both send HTML mails which is discouraged in the netiquette.
quote: HTML vs plain-text
Please post your messages in plain text format and avoid HTML formatted mail.
Many subscribers read their mail with a text based mailing software, which displays HTML directly. Not only is sending HTML mail considered unfriendly, you also risk getting ignored by these users. And it might be, that one of them is the only one who knows the answer to your question. So be nice and don't sent HTML, send plain text instead.
