With the Delata1010s you can sync one to the other using either the word clock or the SPDIF.

The problem with that approach in general is that you have no way of synching the cards.
Since each has their own quartz and all have slightly different speeds, you will end up with dropped samples sooner or later, unless you do a resampling (fons adriansen has written a nice resampler for that kind of things on linux).
