Cool, post anything you do with it. It's pretty rough, but if you
stick with it, I think you could do something cool.
Now that iPodLinux and podzilla development has started up again, I
am thinking of updating pdPod to work as a proper podzilla2 module,
and make some improvements on the button/wheel bindings to make it
easier to use.

Hans,
Thanks!
Finally got pdpod working on my 4th gen 'photo' ipod.
I had to reformat it from fat32 first, and then I had to find an osx machine because the ipod wouldn't move from being read-only in linux (though this might be my inexperience with linux as well). I only tried the 'from scratch' option.
There are two downloads I had to search to find:

cheers! martin

Or you could try our first attempt at an end-to-use installer.
But be warned, the instructions are rough and some of things could format
your disk, if they are not run correctly, so only try this if you
understand the steps:http://dev.eyebeam.org/projects/reware/wiki/pdPod%20Howto http://dropbox.at.or.at/dropbox/reware-pdpod-0.0.tar.bz2

Hi Hans, all,
has anyone got these files?

The links seem to be down although the ipodlinux.org page is
finally up again :)
