You can send multicast but not receive ,as far as I remember. In any case, vanilla Pd will support IPv6 as well as full multicast when this PR is merged: https://github.com/pure-data/pure-data/pull/577 The only difference would be lacking choosing with network device to use as that code seemed way to hairy to bother with.

It doesn't seem to me that [netsend] & [netreceive] are capable of
multicast communications, which would mean that the vanilla objects aren't
a total replacement for the Mr. Peach ones (since [udpsend] & [udpreceive]
are capable of multicast). Or am I missing something?
