What I was thinking of was making something similar as here: http://youtu.be/iQlDEPLHPyQ?t=3m9s
oh, that one. yeah, i think your approach should work for this.
So, what you need is a "virtual camera array" that lies in the center of your 3d scenery. I always wanted to build a dedicated module for this in extendedview toolkit, but never did.
Yes exactly! Too bad you never got around to this ;)
I'll try and make a simple scene today and play around with it. Might have to play a bit with the cameras to get a perspective that works for the audience instead of just the performer though.
So basically to have a 3d scene with each projection surface showing a different part of it to make it immersive.
yes. it is easier to rotate the 3d scenery than the camera, which will result in the same image. Just as in the exampes i sent before.
I guess using different [rotationXYZ] and perhaps [translationXYZ] for each surface and buffer this could be done?
exactly.
Let me know what you think.
i think this is a great idea.

I have no idea if/how this could be done with the Extended View toolkit. Some help with this would be appreciated.

I finally got around to poke at this project. Very cool!
However, I'm trying to figure out how I could add a 'floor' to 04_ev_example_3d.pd I got the surface aligned alright, but I guess I need to change the perspective? A little bit confused here. Basically I just want the scene to extend, so it probably needs some extra transformation to view correctly.
Any ideas on how to accomplish this would be very welcome :)

Looks quite nice! The demo video shows the process nicely. Do you
have any other videos of made with it?
There are some, but we are a bit slow at video editing...
But the original demo video is still valid: long: http://vimeo.com/20328208 short: http://vimeo.com/20311051
And one piece making excessive use of extended view toolkit: Monster: http://vimeo.com/37181648 (there are a few other videos of this piece online too)
It would be good to have it in the puredata.info/downloads page:

Ok. I didn't notice this section before. Never scrolled down at this page.
