Dear all, 

We are thrilled to announce the first batch of recruitments: 18 doctoral and 6 postdoctoral fellowships in the new Norwegian consortium, MishMash Centre for AI and Creativity. 

MishMash is a Norwegian AI centre funded by the Research Council of Norway (2025-2030). It comprises more than 200 faculty members from many higher education institutions in Norway, in collaboration with numerous public and private sector partners. The primary objective of MishMash is to create, explore, and reflect on AI for, through, and in creative practices. MishMash researchers will investigate AI’s impact on creative processes, develop innovative CoCreative AI systems and educational strategies, and address AI’s ethical, cultural, legal, and societal implications in creative domains.

As you can see from the list below, all the positions have different thematic foci. There are also different application procedures for the various institutions, so please read the announcement texts carefully. It is possible to apply for multiple positions. Doctoral Fellowships
These positions generally require that a master's degree has been completed.

Postdoctoral Fellowships
These positions generally require that the PhD dissertation has been submitted before applying and defended before the time of appointment.
