Hum... Yes. I copied logo100.gif into externals/ggee in the patch structure because I had an error, I don't remember exactly the message, but was something indicating which patch can not find logo100.gif. After that I had the patch running  without error in pure vanilla.

My problem start when I tried to put this keyboards in ~/Library/Pd  and use like external. After that pd began to sabotage my ggee [image] object.

Hi Esteban:

Normally when you create an [image] without a file you get that messages so: [image a.gif] or [image folder/folder/a.gif] will do.

I've downloaded the patch http://forum.pdpatchrepo.info/topic/8584/keyboards-gui-for-midi/24

If you open the patches inside the abstraction folder with the notepad you will find some [image] that point to “/usr/lib/pd-extended/extra/ggee/logo100.gif”:

Probably you will prefer to have “logo100.gif” inside the “abstraction folder” and replace all “/usr/lib/pd-extended/extra/ggee/logo100.gif” to just  “logo100.gif” you can do this with the notepad.

Then find “logo100.gif” in your computer an copy it to “abstraction” folder.

Hope this helps.

BTW: you can ask the designer why he loaded the images that way.

Subject: [PD] ggee [image] problem with jmmmp and all

Hi,

I'm in pd-0.46-7, trying to use [ggee/image] but when I call it I have a error because it search in user directory for the image. It return:

(Tcl) UNHANDLED ERROR: couldn't open "/Users/EstebanViveros/logo100.gif": no such file or directory
    while executing
"image create photo img303b00 -file {/Users/EstebanViveros/logo100.gif}"
    ("uplevel" body line 7)
    invoked from within
"uplevel #0 $docmds" list-add

When I try to use [jmmmp/swatch] I have an error to:

(Tcl) UNHANDLED ERROR: couldn't open "/Users/EstebanViveros/examples/rgb.ppm": no such file or directory
    while executing
"image create photo img441190 -file {/Users/EstebanViveros/examples/rgb.ppm}"
    ("uplevel" body line 146)
    invoked from within
"uplevel #0 $docmds"

It start to happen after I used some ggee and cyclone binaries in patch directory to make a patch work in vanilla. This patch:

Thanks for advice
 Esteban Viveros
