I mean, you are allowed to continue to publish programs made with 2.4, but the vstplugin~ extern is not a program. And Pd the program does not use the VST standard, only the program I would write with it.Confusing.Chuckk_______________________________________________On Fri, Mar 8, 2019, 1:57 PM IOhannes m zmölnig <zmoelnig@iem.at> wrote:On 3/8/19 7:04 AM, Chuckk Hubbard wrote:

what is Pd "itself"?
wikipedia says it's a programming language, which is fair enough. but
you cannot *run* any code in a programming language.
for running code, you need an interpreter ("a runtime"), which is
provided by the eponymous *program*.
