Which is on Ubuntu at /home/username

If you don't have a pd-externals folder in your home directory, just create it and put deken.tcl file into it, then restart Pd.

Yes, yes. I downloaded a .tcl file (in text) into my downloads directory, read the instructions saying I should put this into a directory in my "~/pd-externals" folder.

Since I don't seem to have a 'pd-externals' directory on either of my computers I'm not sure what to make of that.

Um, am I guessing wrong about that '~' at the beginning?  -- Is there a specific path that that's referring to?
