By the way, Is there a place where we could get a whole bunch of patches showing OpenGL Gem wraps examples ? I am thinking about the name of a directory of dynamic and/or OpenGL-ish abstractions to put in the CVS. I though about dynamicgems. Any better idea ? It would be great if several people would commit patches there.

You can use GEMgl*** objects. There are a lot. They wrap OpenGL functions.

hello, is possible to use glu and glut libraries with
gem???

We already use glu for objects like cylinder.  GLUT is not included in the GEM build - it mainly covers window and event management which we use 'native' code to do.
