Hi,

Recently I installed Kubuntu and Pd-E 0.44 both 64 bit. Pd-E 0.44 does not give the warning about 64 bit issues, and indeed some of the earlier bugs are fixed. However not all are fixed. I do not use many externals but ran into 64 bit issues with cyclone library ([poke~] and [sfv~] at least).

On my dual boot with Kubuntu Precise 64 bit and Debian Squeeze 32 bit, I can fall back on the 32 for music performance, while using the 64 for experiment. Currently I am trying to set up a Pd-E development layout on Kubuntu. Anyway, when using Pd on Linux 64 bit it's probably best to fetch latest greatest from nightly builds every now and then, so you have recent fixes.
