What size are the images?
pix_kaleidoscope isn't the most CPU friendly object either. It does a lot of memory operations that CPUs just aren't good at.
re all,
i'm building a patch pd with Gem which load images and transform them using [pix_kaleidoscope] and [rotate].
when i started the patch, the processor is overloaded, 90% 99% CPU process.
exist an especific object for improve performance? In pdp has pdp_thread...
