Hi, this issue seems to be solved by
you could try to eliminate "-Werror" in src/makefile, line 39.

i've been out of the mix for a few months, so i may be missing something
here..
anyway, here's the configure results, i've tried it both with and without
the alsa flag. gcc --v gives me 3.2.2, but i have tried a compile with 2.95 also. make depend yeilds no joy either.
