Hi  Hrvoje,

expr already has a "no such var" check for expr~. In Pd 0-55-2 I get the following message and there is no error message flooding. Please check your Pd version.

---------
expr: 'a*$v1'
no such var 'a'
expr: no more var errors will be reported
expr: till the next reset
-----------

Best,
Shahrokh

Dear list,
whenever I enter the unknown value inside [expr~] object my pd freezes because it is trying to tell me it is unknown. The error message comes out at sampling rate pace (or blocks per second, not sure) so I can't kill the dsp and fix things, forcing me to close (unsaved patch) pd through task manager. It would be cool to have error message being displayed only once. Or DSP disabled, like when you accidentally make a DSP loop.
Are there any workarounds or startup flags which can prevent such scenarios?
Thank you!
