You're right, but you were calling other things a bug, that were no bugs in a technical sense (how ms are calculated in overlapping subpatches, how the maximum index for [vd~] is actual less than the buffer size, etc.). However, my remark didn't actually concern your last question and was therefore stupid...
It's ok some if some things seem weird and confusing, as they did and sometimes still do to me. And of course you can ask questions! If my last post felt like a repression, I deeply regret that!
I'm personally rather careful with calling something a bug because chances are high that there's simply a technical reason I didn't consider or couldn't understand. But I strongly encourage you to keep asking questions, because I discovered interesting things while trying to answer them :-).
