Just wondering if anyone had any experience with vvvv software, and exactly what differences, if any, there are!
vvvv is 'non-free', pd is 'free', vvvv is windows-only, pd windows/*nix vvvv is directX, GEM is openGL..
vvvv it's preetty neat, and has a nifty GUI... of which some things wil eventually make it to pd (like a right click class list object instantiation thing without typing, and a floating inspector etc...)////
There is this in the website FAQ regarding how it differs from Pd: "vvvv differs most from these programs in its architecture. vvvv was designed to work with groups of objects, making it easier for users to control multiple objects simultaneously" ???????????????????!
i think theyre talking about whatever they refer to lists as..therye sort of like 'columns' or 'grids' or something...
Well this makes no sense to a novice like meself...
