thanks for the hint, that was very inspiring, like putting a stethoscope
onto the heart of PD ! ;-)
what this basically does, is protocolling everything that is done within
the PD window (of course also the dsp stuff), but also keystrokes that
are sent in dialogues/properties windows.
also audio/midi settings are displayed. all of this is handy if somewhat
cryptic stuff.
as far as i can tell, everything that can be received from PD via [r pd]
can also be sent to PD with a [s pd], at least changes sent to the audio
dialog worked that way.
i think this definitely deserves a mentioning or better a fully
description somewhere in the tutorials
