This needs documenting somewhere - but INSTALL.txt is already so long and fearsome that I tremble at the idea of adding a section on all the CPP flags that Pd migth be sensitive to. (Example: avoiding references to IPv6 so that we can still compile for XP :) . Not sure what to do here..
