cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@pure-data.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/pure-data login

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@pure-data.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/pure-data co -P modulename

btw, if you are on a native 64bit operating system, than you _really_
should use pd-0.41 (test).
any Pd-version below 0.41 will be buggy on 64bit platforms.

http://www.google.com/search?q=LADSPA

it is missing because you haven't installed it.
many externals depend on 3rd party libraries to bring new functionality
to Pd.
some of these check for the existence of these libs when building,
others don't.

it think the documentation on http://puredata.info should provide enough
information to resolve most dependency issues.
if it doesn't, please update the docs.
