hi,

I'm on the road and need to turn on my machine this week. so I'll send the dmesg printout then.

you can find more information on the driver and other people's experiences in:
http://kaswy.free.fr/?q=node/42
and
http://nuigroup.com/forums/viewthread/4079/P15/
there must be a lot of dmesg prints there...

I have gotten it working with no p[roblems or crashes in fedora11 at 320x240@75fps and 640x480@60fps, higher frame rates are not working ok, dropping frames everyonce in a while.
the driver seems to be in a testing period though, so i'm kind of skeptical...

there is also some stuff on the web about using other lenses and taking the ir filter...

best,

J

is it really USB 2.0 ? virtually any usb camera i checked advertises
itself as USB 2.0, though the few ones i tried are actually using 'only'
UHCI (which refers to USB 1.1). i guess, what the USB 2.0 label on those
cameras means is the fact, that they are compatible with USB 2.0 capable
ports.

in case you are on linux, could you post the relevant past few lines of
dmesg after having plugged in the camera? if this is really a USB 2.0
camera, i might be interested in purchasing one.

cheers
roman
