just to add, it compiles fine on a recent gentoo system using gcc 3.2
not sure where the problem lies though. i go the feeling redhat has some bogus header files...but cant see where.

Im using redhat 7.3, gcc 2.96, ggee from CVS take yesterday.
gonna try on my gentoo system soon and let you know.
i could comment 174, but its not the only token that spews errors. all of them do.
I tried looking around the termios.h and other headers, but couldnt find an answer.
