I asked something similar before, and Frank Barknecht remember me that in Pd,  the results of any computation are considered to last 0 ms in logical time, in fact it will take some real time to find it, so in case of real-time applications, it's my understood that normally, if an incoming signal arrives in the middle of a computation, it will be ignored. The other option is to develop something with threads for reading your incoming signals, but then you have to pay special attention to the synchronization of them.  In my case it seemed to be a good trade-off to assume my incoming signals one at a time, and spaced in time long enough for my object to finish the calculation, instead of doing the whole thing with threads.
