Thanks for the reply. I've looked through the building instructions in
the readme file, but for Pd on Windows, there are only instructions for using
Microsoft Visual C++. I'm assuming the Visual C++ makefile isn't compatible
with other compilers. Is there any way I can compile the external with my
Borland C++ compiler (or any other free compiler, for that matter)?

VASP external
Hi Matt,
sounds like you are using the cvs version, which is a good idea.
In this case, there's a readme.txt file explaining the building procedure.
You'll also need the flext package (from cvs)

a simple way for me to install the external with what I have? My programming
skills are a bit lacking, so I don't know how to work around this. Any help
would be appreciated.
