hi,

no -lib option is required,
but a -path option to the location
where the pd_linux files are
( should be /my/pd/dir/externs ).

i prefer to do it this way
because this means you load
the objects only if you use them,
this avoids using useless ressources
like libs do.

about the path, i think extra directory
is for objects delivered with pd and
externs should be for additionnal objects.

bye,

thanks for the info, but now i'm confused as to what to put down in my
.pdrc NOT for the playlist but for mp3live~ and mp3write. they all
compiled fine (lame files included) but think i've tried every single
possible combination for writing the -lib in .pdrc. What are the right
combinations for mp3streamin~ mp3streamout~ mp3fileout~ and mp3write?
thanks!;)

hi,

the archive provided is delivered for
pd >= 0.35-test5 and, besides, you need the pd sources.
then, follow the steps from INSTALL.

hi
i'm trying to install the playlist external and it seems that it requires
some sort of header file, something about canvases, and i have a feeling
it needs other things as well. where can i get a hold of it/them? do i
need to install pd-test?
help!!!
