In the patch:
[receive bajesus]
|
[particular]
In the command line:
pd -open <patch> -send ";bajesus sugar-smacks"
The semicolon makes all the difference.
I also found that it works to say
-send ";bajesus $VAR" inside a bash script, if you're into that kind of thing.
I have no idea where the message goes if you don't use a semicolon.

hey Chuckk -I was wondering about this just yesterday.. How do you address the message to a particular object when you invoke the -send flag from the command line? Can you show an example?thanks,-David M.On Oct 28, 2007, at 7:50 AM, Chuckk Hubbard wrote:Okay, I figured out -send.
