Hi !
I finally managed to get pd0.25test3 for WinNT, but, running Win95, I have a queer problems (maybe I missed it on the list; never mind):
1) on a PentiumII @ 288MHz and a SoundBlaster-AWE32 in full-duplex mode
(-ada) I get the *permanent* error-message"resyncing-audio".
Even very harmless patches (like "Test Audio And Midi") don't get anything
constant out (I think it's 1/3 sound and 2/3 nothing).
After a short period of *working* the "dacs died : switching to alternate
sources".
I have had the dacs died on earlier releases too, but most often the
system worked; now it won't;
Tryng "-noadc" it works fine.
2) The same goes for a Pentium @ 100 MHz and a Terratec-EWS64.
By the way, what are the major changes from 0.23 to 0.24 except for
the multichannel option.
Winfried's pd0.24_multichannel did perform quite well.
Unfortunately, the cputime object won't do on my system, but I
don't think that the PII-288 has much problems with the amount of calculation
(of course, the P100 does). Is there anything, I can do for better performance
(anything cheaper than buying an o2 would be great ;-)
