Hmm, thinking this over a bit more I guess what I need is different views of the same scene.
As right now in the 3d-example there is a single texture with a 3d object that is spread out over the vertices.
In my case I'd want to have different dimensional views of the same object on each of the vertices, so not a single texture at all.

So, you need textures from different angles of the same scene, right?
I just made two examples:

different_viewing_angles.pd (general for pd/gem)
04_ev_example_... (specific for extended view toolkit. load and recall attached textfile!)

I hope, this answered your question.

I have no idea if/how this could be done with the Extended View toolkit.
Some help with this would be appreciated.

I finally got around to poke at this project. Very cool!

However, I'm trying to figure out how I could add a 'floor' to 04_ev_example_3d.pd
I got the surface aligned alright, but I guess I need to change the perspective?
A little bit confused here. Basically I just want the scene to extend, so it probably needs some extra transformation to view correctly.

Any ideas on how to accomplish this would be very welcome :)

Looks quite nice!  The demo video shows the process nicely.  Do you have any
other videos of made with it?

There are some, but we are a bit slow at video editing...

But the original demo video is still valid:
long: http://vimeo.com/20328208
short: http://vimeo.com/20311051

And one piece making excessive use of extended view toolkit:
Monster: http://vimeo.com/37181648
(there are a few other videos of this piece online too) Ok. I didn't notice this section before. Never scrolled down at this page.
