I've done things like this in the past - best way to go is to first get the OSC library for processing (maybe it comes standard now? don't know) and look at the examples there. They will show you how to encode messages to send to other apps via OSC. If you haven't had any experience with processing or any Java-like language before it could be a bit of a challenge, but definitely doable. It's probably going to be more of a processing issue than Pd, at least that was my experience. Pd's OSC implementation is very direct.
At processing.org there's a forum for specific questions on that kind of thing, you might try searching there too.
Good luck,
Kevin
Hi list!
I would like to make an audio pd patch controlled by a visual interface. I think processing could be a nice aplication for this interface but I'm newby to processing.
Communication between PD and Processing is possible by OSC library, but I don't know the way to implement it.
I need to send values from Processing by mouse actions to PD to control audio synthesis.
Has somebody experience with this kind of implementation? Any suggestion?
Saludos
