hey all,
I have a Quicksilver G4733 and it will not do audio in, because there is not audio in HW!!! I have to run PD with -noadc for it to run.
I'm not familar with the machine your refering to but its worth a try.

Well, last time I used the package 0.37 and tried on my own. Now, using your installer the same error occurs. Everything but the audio output seems to work, the cpu load meter runs well etc. I have no idea whats wrong. (?) ___ __ _ Christian
Which distro/installer are you using? You might want to try my new installer, which is currently based on pd-0.37-test11.

Hi, Trying installing pd and get it to run under mac os x I still dont get the audio to work. After typing pd in the terminal pd appears but at the command line the following error msg come up: Error number -9997 occured opening portaudio stream Error message: Invalid device ID. I also tried to start it by using /pd -nomidi -audiooutdev 1 but still the same. In the audio setup menu the built in audio device is selected. It is a G4 DP 800 machine. Thx, Christian
