hmm, I'm looking at FontBook on DejaVu and I don't see sharp & flat signs.
i don't know about FontBook, but my trusty fontforge shows flat, natural and sharp signs.

i checked both the system installed version of "DejaVu Sans Mono" and the one that is included n Pd's font/ folder.
