It does not crash for me with 0.35 PRELIMINARY TEST 14 on win2k with asio enable (which rocks by the way)
can someone explain to me how this object differs from the normal Number object? thanks.

hi,
apart from being very happy about the availability of the "nbx"-object in pd 0.35-test11, i have to report a somewhat serious bug:
typing a number into it and pressing enter causes pd to crash almost everytime. saving the patch before doing so sometimes helps, but not always...
another issue (already asked for that before):
is there a way to compose "receive"-objects dynamically , i.e. with $- arguments ? a sort of equivalent to the ";" message (which does the job on
the "send"-side) would also help...ciao
