I’ve got this issue too! Eventually the OS X audio just crashed and I couldn’t get it working until I restarted the whole system. Investigating what might be the culprit right now

Hi. I had some problems at the beginning but I reinstalled it and it is working,, i do get the "can't load library.." Error in the console (though i have X11 installed), and some of my patches are not working properly, but mainly it's working fine,,,

Hope eventually there is a fix for this ;)

Best.

Hello,

Just tested out with my Pd-extended 0.43.4 installation, and so far the audio is working. However, Pd tends to get unresponsive until I force-restart it, so there’s definitely something odd going on

Howdy all,

Heads up: I upgraded to Mac OX 10.10 last night and neither Pd-extended 0.43.4 nor Pd vanilla 0.46.1 have working audio. I imagine we need a newer version of portaudio? When you open the Audio Settings dialog, the input and output dropdown boxes are empty.

In any case, this is bad news as currently none of the precompiled versions of Pd will be operable for people using the new OS.
