well, it isn't more sensitive in terms of resolution: same camera, dimensions, etc. it actually currently runs at a lower frame rate than the drum, but it is really analyzing the hand multidimensionally so you get much more nuance than analyzing the fabric and much more variables are extracted, many of them interdependent. so with practice, things start to come along, curiously, just like any other instrument...!
